Description
In honor of my recent X-Men obsession. This took me FOREVER to do. (Well, a week.) But after two false starts, it's finally done. I realize that Gambit's body is doing things that defy modern medical science, but on the plus side, it taught me to sketch out bodies before I start doing the actual drawing.
I was getting pretty discouraged while doing this, but I'm actually pretty pleased with how the coloring turned out.
(I'll let you finish laughing.)
For the sake of honesty, I've been stealing color from screen shots of the show I found on the internet. It's a learning process.
Anyways, I dunno, I'm tired and am looking forward to putting this all behind me. But now that it's done, I think it was worth the sweat and tears.
Now to color the next one. >.<
Characters property of Disney nee Marvel. (Oh, if only, Remy. If only.)
ETA: After discovering some of my pictures uncredited on other websites (seriously?), I've decided to add a URL to my work.

Aw, thank you! For awhile it wasn't looking so great (the scan always ends up sort of smudgy). It just never seems to look as clean and professional as I'd like it to. But the coloring really made a difference.
Gambit actually turned out surprisingly okay. You should see all the scans I drew all over trying to figure out how to position his legs. I was getting kind of sick of it by the end. I don't know how you do as many drawings as you do, as well as you do them and in the short period of time you seem to do them in, because this took me FOREVER, lol.
But thanks for the encouragement and the fave! You're such a dear.

Aww,i hate it when scanners mess up I can imagine,i do exactly the same ting lol.
U should see all the erasing, rescribbles and image moves i do on paint
Lol,i've always been quick to draw things, ive got a complete inability to spend more than two days on a pic - the fact that u kept at this for a week has me amazed
Im happy to give it

I'm impressed that you're able to actually draw on the computer (and very well, I might add! Though I'm sure I've said that about a hundred times by now, lol, but never hurts to say it again. ). That was one of my false starts. I started drawing it in my sketch pad and was like, "Forget this, to Photoshop!" But that didn't go so well...so I drew it a third (and thankfully final) time in my sketchpad, then photocopied it, then traced the photocopy in pen, then scanned it, then colored it. Eesh.
Seriously, I'm usually a lot like you (with pretty much everything). I'm like, "Okay, I've spent an hour on this. DONE." (I'm even worse when it comes to writing, much to the frustration of my creative writing teachers; they always wanted me to fix things and I was always like, "What do you mean, first draft and final draft? This is both." I mean, I proofread and make sure my grammar is okay, but otherwise...can't be bothered. Wow, tangent.)
I mean, it SORT OF took a week, in that I drew it on the first day, got frustrated with Gambit's legs, drew something else, came back to it, photocopied it and tried to figure out how to fix it, occasionally picked it up and stared at it, put it away, thought about coloring it, got annoyed I couldn't get my other computer to run photoshop, and then finally SAT DOWN AND FINISHED, which took a few hours over about a day or two. It's mainly the procrastination factor that takes me so long, lol.
*ENDRAMBLE*
(For now.)

It doesnt, its nice to be complimented
'Forget this,to Photoshop!' - great philosophy
Wow,thats a LOT of work,well done.
Yep,that sounds about right, and dont get me started on re-drafting essays.
Multiple distractions right?
Procrastination is fun,i've been doing it all day today.Had an idea for a parody comic last night that would not get out of my head,so sat down today, got some screenshots, tried to get some titanic pics (titanic parody..kinda),couldnt,so looked online for the scene i wanted, watched, played around with related videos for hours, drew first pic, went back to drawing, then onto internet again lol.
I've been at it all day and only got two panels done so far

LOL, hope we never have to team up for anything. We'd never get anything done.
But we'd have so much fun not doing it.

Thanks! I'm hoping I get better with time. I'm still trying to figure out how to do shading and getting a sense of where the light source is, etc. So much to learn... *SIGH*
