okay i haven't even posted this yet and i already regret itso basically millard is invisible and no one knows what he really looks like so i allowed myself to go wild with this one and make my own theories
so the idea was that he has to loook sorta messy but still nerdy.
i kinda ruined everything by coloring it but i was kinda proud of how the hair turned out since i never drew curly hair before so that's literally the only reason why i posted this xD
yeah the hair is basically the most important detail since everything else failed *he looked so adorable as a sketch *starts crying*

I think this is great. It really looks cool. And I think the colouring style is really great too. The subtle shades give it an antique look which I really like, also I think the shading is done very well, so smooth. The eyes so so real, the rest so awesomely semi realistic. And the hair is just simply fantastic too. I have to admit, Winterwolfe15 really brought it to the point, with the cartoon thing. It's an awesome style!

I love the style you used here! Very soft, very mid-century cartoon (right in between realism and fashion). You should be very proud of this piece. It seems you have just enough wrinkles to match his floopy puffy curly hair (just enough harry-potter-esk messy vibe). I adore your shading in the face! Especially on those lips. This, I have to say, Is my favorite piece out of your gallery. It feels like a style all your own. My one complaint would be the eyes may be a hair too high on the face, but we're talking less than a millimeter too high. So cute! So handsome!

I mean since he is invisible its kinda hard to tell what he would look like and I think you just completely nailed it. I think thats exactly what he would look like if we could see him. And besides you have no reason to be scared because he is invisible and no one can tell you something like " ew no thats not what he looks like" You are your own artist and you do what you like to. Enoch was pretty hot... but he was a bit of an asshole (in the beginning) after that he became a badass! xD

Irrelevant, but I had other thoughts about Millard's appearance. I thought that he would have dark skin and short black hair xD Now it looks so much different than what I had in mind that I don't know what to think xD

ahahahah ikr XD i think that's because in the movie they made him so smol so if you see him there you immediately think of a cute smol child with his har pulled backwards...or omfg even the levi hairstyle!
but the books make him look really really fucking nerdy and omg you'd love him in the books xD
so basically the idea is the same but it has a lot of differences (i think tim burton just wanted to make a nice movie everyone can enjoy without having to read the books so i'm personally cool with it but a lot of people are kinda pissed xD*
so for starters the ages of the kids are different since enoch is like 12 in the books and millard is older, maybe 17 or something like that, as well as hugh *aka the bee guy* who i think is the oldest since he's kinda ehem all serious with fiona *aka the plants girl*
also fiona can't really speak in the books due to some childhood trauma or something like that
olive and emma switched powers and olive is so smol
enoch is a dick but a kind dick who loves puns and is so done with everyone
now the movie horace is life xD since he's literally the drama queen but also kinda the mom friend *cough* btw the projections of his dreams are not in the book but instead of that he can predict the future real good for everyone he just meet xD
and what else...jacob's grandad is full on dead. jacob can control the hollows too... millard is a major fangirl, likes to be the drama queen from time to time and is naked like half of the time xD

hell yes omg i could talk about thisfor days xD it's sunch a nice little book to read omg
i started reading it after finishing crime and punishment and some other stuff by kafka so this was really chill and easy to read
even though the first book has like 200, second almost 400 and third 500something. but then again it has pictures so there's that xD
anyways i think the first character that might surprise was emma. since emma in the books has olive powers from the movie. but oh my god i laughed so hard at her first scene because in the movie she just says "Abe?" and she's all nice and calm
but in the books she sees jacob, calls him abe, but then when she realizes he's not him she runs away so jacob chases her into the loop and she literally tries to kill him xD
like she walked him through the town holding a knife against his back xD
then you see millard who's writing a book about everything happening on the island on that one freaking day. and i mean everything. he spent 3 years writing about every pig on the island and what each one of them did on that day xD
also my poor bby gets shot at one point and his reaction was “I must apologize, it seems I've gone and gotten myself shot"
now you know that part in the movie when enoch looks a bit jelous? yeah that's not really a thing, he's also not that grumpy during the dinner
and the first time he talked with jacob was in the garden while jacob was daydreaming xD and then he asked jacob if he knows everything about the life in the loop and tellls him to talk with his friend who's upstairs (where dead victor is) and when jacob asked him abut what's up there he was all like "oh i really shouldn't say..if the bird finds out.." but then in the room he didn't even bring victor back to life because miss peregrine almost caught them. but jacob still forced him to say everything
now what else...fiona is dead. kinda? i mean we don't really know but she's probably dead
the scene with them using the ship is not there
they literally escaped in two tiny boats
also the bad guy who kidnapped the ymbines is miss peregrine's brother
and they're actually trying to use them to open the library of souls and not to gain eternal youth
and the end is sorta unfinished so there might be more books
even ransom riggs said that he's writing more but we don't know if he's writing about the peculiars or about something else

i had a nerdgasm for crime and punishment too and they're completely different xD
mphfpc is a lot easier to read and get lost in, sorta like harry potter. it creates a world far from reality so that's not complicated or too deep, it's just so nice and chill *an army of fans runs in talking about hollows and how close this book is to a horror novel* so much bullshit omfg xD
i'm telling ya this is something you finish reading in a day to calm you down xD
