After the fifth generation of the franchise was infested with weak villains such as Sprout Cloverleaf, Opaline and Misty Brightdawn, Lack of any new toys from the franchise, The Tell Your Tale shorts being nonsensical, dumbed down, bite-sized chunks that can easily be watched on smart devices and the drama surrounding Hasbro and its soon-to-be sold eOne subsidiary behind the scenes, Generation 5 of My Little Pony is ending its flagship series, Make Your Mark on a sour note with the sixth chapter of the series entitled The Secrets of Starlight (and no, Starlight Glimmer is not coming back)

The franchise that had garnered over $1 billion in merchandise sales in 2015 has been in a drastic decline. and now, The return of a possible G4 character is being apparent, Spike the Dragon, a classic MLP character who was Twilight's assistant in the Friendship is Magic series, is apparently returning by being on four legs instead of standing on two. I feel bad for this franchise after everything Hasbro had done since the FIM series ended four years ago, and the end of Friendship is Magic, for me was taken per granted after everything that stooped to a new low with this show.

I am not mad at Hasbro or Atomic Cartoons over this, as I feel like this flagship series is ending on a sour note with its even more weaker writing. and like I said before the show's primary audience, Generation Alpha, is more into video games and hoverboards and surfing online. Realizing that this franchise's decline is becoming as apparent.

Now, I don't hate Sunny Starscout and her friends, but their potential had all but gone to waste in my opinion, by the fact they carbon copy their personalities from the original Mane Six.

Again, I feel that by the time Chapter 6 debuts on November 23rd, everypony is going to feel burned out by this ending on a very sour note.
