Description
These are the representations from =mushir 's deviantART Symbols Explained and I had permission. Here it is.The preview is going to be mucked up because it's a png file, so the transparency will go black...
I quite like how most of it came out, but there are some bits that I would have liked to be better. Such as the premium member's 'bling', and some other stuff to. I do like how the bugs came out!
If enough people want me to. I'll upload each of these seperatly.

Back three years ago when this was made, the @ symbol was used for Message Network Admins, MN@ for short (They were volunteers who moderated the forums and the dAmn chat rooms), and the ^ symbol was used for Gallery Moderators, who moderated specific sections of the deviantART gallery, as well as acting as a centre for the community around that particular section of the gallery.
Their roles haven't changed as far as I know, but now they're both called Community Volunteers (CVs for short) and have the ^ symbol.
PS: FAQ #106: What are the symbols in front of each deviants nickname?

I use png files, because it displays translucent images and saves translucent images correctly!(way better at handling transparency than gimp).
what's going on!?!, it says in your comment the opposite to what I'm saying, (which does not make sense), please explain!

It's deviantART's previews, if you look at this deviation among others, like in a gallery. The transparent background goes black.

I've been doing some looking into this, it seems that firefox on ubuntu 9.04 displays png images perfectly well, regardless of color or transparencies,
but firefox on ubuntu 9.10, seriously screws png images up.
this problem is a threat to the future of firefox that needs to be sorted fast! , if only I could do something about it
why png images?!?, it screws up the color and brightness of png images mainly., thankfully (as far as I know) this problem is only on ubuntu 9.10, and a variation of the problem on whatever fedora OS you use., otherwise there would literally be a whole world of seriously pissed firefox users.
I sure hope this problem is sorted out before the arrival of ubuntu 10.whatever.
at least (as far as I know) all the other image types display correctly

I think it was deviantART, because the full size image displays perfectly. But the smaller preview, that is just the full size image scaled down, has the transparency as black. Suggesting something went wrong in the scaling.

I think dA resized the image for the preview and turned it into a .jpeg, therefore the lack of transparency.
Well that's what I think is happening to me.

I found a add-on that fixes the png problem!
check it out! [link]
once installed, restart firefox, then go to the instaled add-on, click preferences(on the add-on) and disable color management, it awesome!, that little emoticon png image you uploaded displays perfectly!

It doesn't work for me...
Besides it's only the preview that is glitched for me the actual full size image displays perfectly.

If you read the descriptions in the deviation the ideas came from you can see they are a load of nonsense.

The emotes are from this deviation: [link] . I had permission to turn them into 15x15 emotes. Read the descriptions on the orginal.
