And now here's a interesting and obscure Nintendo character. Takamaru is the samurai hero from a Famicom Disk game named Nazo No Murasamejou (it would be like "Riddle of the Murasame Castle" in english). Basically its Zelda-like game but with more action and less talking (AND LOTS OF NINJAS!). Yes, another swordman, but samurai are the coolest of them all.Related content

...aheh... sorry ^.^;; I know it was Nintendo Database that really pushed this character, but I've been doing missionary work of my own on a few sites, and I'm so impressed that people are really taking this guy in for the full ride. Fans love him!

Yes. I learned from his game (and many others) at that site. And I agree, Takamaru would be awesome as a surprise character for Brawl (SSB had Ness, while SSBM brought Marth).
