i'm working on a new short film now that I'm done with the super mario one, and my nightmares and pajamas one has been postponed until i learn how to model hair.this film will be about the grim reaper's son, Death Jr. Death Jr wants only to please his dad, but taking on the family business is not in his blood...not that he has any. he knows that dressing up as batman on halloween or sewing up the tears in his cloak really disappoint his dad, but he can't help but have fun and make friends with the living.
this touching tale of self-discovery is currently...IN PROGRESS... dunno when it'll be done.
this is the front view of the tentative model for death jr. there's a side view in my gallery somewhere.
note: i really like the idea of his "cloak" being in the form of a hoodie, because i think that's in a kid's nature. and i like the idea of having feet hidden, and glowing eyes in the sockets. i'm not too sold on the jaw, but it helps with lip syncing animation.
comments are appreciated, because the model can still be changed. please, any ideas are appreciated.

for me.. the hands are fab, love the whole bone effect you got there.. now.. if similar attention can be put to the skull.. you would be very much be onto a winner. But still a real nice job on the modelling

that's a good call, i've received some comments about the skull.
i'll toy around, but i think that i might have to sacrifice some of the youthful cartoony innocence if i add details like gums or cracks.
