Description
This is my entry for ~xXBlackKatXx 's colouring contest. The character's name is Euphoria, and I think she's a hottie. XD Go visit Kat and see her amazing gallery!Sketched by hand, scanned and coloured in Photoshop 7 with a Wacom tablet. Total time to colour was about 6.5 hours.
The lineart and character design is copywrite to ~xXBlackKatXx unauthorised re-use outside this contest without her express permission is prohibited.

A dark elf. They have black skin, white hair and red eyes (usually).
Here's the wikipedia description: "Drow, or "dark elves" as they are called by most surface dwellers, are an offshoot of the Elven race. Drow are characterized by white or silver hair, obsidian black skin, and red (or rarely gray, violet, or yellow) eyes, as well as innate spell powers and spell resistance."

Originally I was going for a pastel-fairy-princess kind of look because of the whole unicorn thing, but as I progressed, I found myself altering the hues to see what would look better. (and personally, I just love the colour teal, so I had to put it in her outfit somewhere XD )

Yeah :S I flattened the layers and then saved the image, so I couldn't alter the colours anymore. I was kicking myself afterwards
