I've seen a few other artists upload lineart for others to colour, and I thought it was a nice idea.So, if anyone wants to practice their colouring techniques, but can't be bothered drawing something up, feel free to use this one. But let me know when it's done okay? I wanna see it. :3
However, there are a few rules:
1. No altering the lineart. I don't care if you think a bit needs fixing - you're not changing it.
2. No erasing my signature.
3. No selling completed works or claiming them as your own or Jiko will chew your face off.
4. This can only be used on dA - You can submit the finished version to your gallery as long as you state that the lineart is mine, and link back to my page. No uploading to any other websites like Elfwood, or your Livejournal.
This Lineart is still copywrite to me (Jigokuko) - I'm merely letting you use it for practice. You can also crop the background a little, as long as it doesn't interfere with the lineart.
Sorry if I sound paranoid, but art theft is a very real and widespread problem.

It took a while to find the person that drew this and I love your work! I was looking for references for the Kirin creature on pinterest and found your drawing, I was wanting to ask you if I could use pieces of your drawing for one I'm doing?
I will give you full credit if I do use pieces of it for the scene I'm drawing but I will not try to implement it without your approval first and foremost.

It looks great! I love the hair. I might give it a go, but it'll be my first try at coloring. Ever. O_O Any good tips? Or tutorials?

Tips? Hmm, only that if you use photoshop, layers and the lasso tool are invaluable 
Don't forget, you can always print it out an colour it that way if it's easier.

hey I might try to colour this on photoshop if I get a chance to a little later in the day... You really rock at lineart aye... it's really originally designed too... I like how you've taken something like a unicorn and given it a womanly form!! Go you!

Hmm, I don't think it took that long, an hour tops? I actually had a thicker line running around the whole image, but I didn't like it that much so I spent a couple of hours erasing that in Photoshop. >__>

Pencil -> Digital or straight to digital like with a tablet.
and since you used photoshop did you use the pen tool to do the lines?

I did it by hand with pencil, then inked it, then scanned it
I'm not very good with drawing directly onto the pc, I think the sensitivity of my tablet is up too high, so my lines come out all wibbly :S
