I did this sketch at work and found it very funny at the time. But none of my coworkers laughed at the concept. bah, it didn't surprise me, cause I don't find *their* jokes funny either!The girl's cooking skills are much like my own. I cook up some pretty weird stuff. Most of the time I do asian cuisine but since I use western ingredients it comes out like a weird blob. But it's edible
anywayz, I started this in a very buoyant mood, lost it due to some depressing shit happening and finally resurfaced. At first I was worried because it really looked like the worst coloring I'd done in a while but then I toyed with the color levels and it came out like this.

The colours are really pretty but the background seems a bit too saturated to me. Almost makes my eyes hurt when I look at it too long but that might just be my monitor.
Em, I think the girls arms are too short. And the guy seems to have five fingers (not counting the thumb) I know one of it is the ball of the pinky (you know that fleshy part of the hand - my english sucks), but it looks way too angled.
But I just love how his food looks all nice and yummy and hers is just.... evil

The expression on the guys face is great!!! It gave me a good laugh. And hey forget about everyone else. I think your work is great, I know how it feels to be proud of something and people have to dis or nitpick it.(for me that is my mom, she is never completely happy with my work...Guess I just have ideas a little too weird for her)ANYWAYS, good stuff and I can't wait to see what else you can cook up. ^.^

I completely understand about your mom, mine's the same. About the only thing she likes are some landscapes I did. I was really envious of how encouraging other people's parents were when I was younger.

ohh you will make it if you just want it.
A nice thing, go after a cooking book and learn how much salt and pepper you need. that is really important. Sorry I just start to babble, you can cook if you want to so just train you will make it in no time.. keeping my fingers X for luck
