Description
"i know, my twolegs had them off a bit ago."a little bstory: a patrol found littlekit/paw/creek when he was around 5 moons old. he had ran away from home. pinekit was three moons younger (so hes only like 2 moons here), and magpiekit was still alive.
also, pinekit had a little mask of beige that receded as he got older, because some cats' patterns change as they age! thought thats a neat tidbit
this is rly lazy i just wanted this established lmao

We had my first (and currently only) cat declawed. Only in the front so she could still climb. Our family thought "Hecc they gonna clip it its all gonna be guud"
What we didnt know at the time is that they surgically remove claws so they cant grow back. So when we brought her home from the vet her paws were f'd up. A lot of blood and scabs. We felt TERRIBLE. Me and my mom promised we would never do that to a cat again if we ever ended up getting another.
This comment goes out to my cat ( Appropriately named Kitty). Little trooper sacrificed her claws so we could see how horrible it was.Β Love you baby.
(( Before you call us stupid for not researching; We had heard nothing bad about it previously, but I agree, it was bad on our part for not confirming ))

Declawing a cat is cruel, and im glad you learned about it.Β Many cats actually become depressed after getting declawed, and eventually wind up as "problem cats" I am glad that your kitty is in a loving home. In the future, I would reccomend cat claw covers (they exist) or a weekly trim. Thanks for reading my mini-rant, and hopefully things go better in the future!

Well, when you grow up with dogs, and your only exposure to cats is strays and fantasy books. It happens.
Yes, she has a loving home. A small schnauzer sister who is always willing to play fight. And a floofy german shepherd bro.Β

I have two declawed cats, so i understand it doesn't seem all that painful, but the first part of their toe was removed and that can be detrimental to a cat's health, especially one- like in the image- that may have to fight and hunt.

declawing cats usually causes immence pain and arthritis. please look up the "paws need claws" association! just because cats don't show pain, that doesn't mean they're not in it, they've adapted well to hiding pain from predators.Β
