Really nice practice concept, these would work as bad guys and cannon fodder for some video game! They remind me of the parasite-humans from the manga Parasyte, I don't know if your familiar with it.
A little thing I noticed: a good portion of the guys on the left are holding their shields on the opposite side to those walking on the right, which is kinda strange and generally not something you'd see from troops trained to fight in the same way(although it does work to show off their nifty armor!).

The small soldiers remind me a lot of "The Guy", which you can see in Disturbed's album covers. I'm really digging this!

Underseers (As opposed to 'overseer')
Tears of [Insert deity here, e.g. "Cthulhu"] (Each soldier possibly referred to as a "tear")
Children of Ra., since that eye is actually very reminiscent to the Eye of Ra.

one of my concept is they cannot sleep. or don't sleep by own masters. always watching enemy or prisoner or another thing.
