Okay, so this was a looooooooooooooooong time coming!

If you remember this one:

...then you know what this is about (not that the title didn't give it away or anything!)

So, not only had I actually drawn both Austin and Uniqua, but I had drawn them around 2 years ago! (I don't remember when but sometime after I finished the other three. Maybe late Spring). Well, I quit working on them because I could not for the life of me get Uniqua to look the way I wanted her too. I mean I really REALLY HATED the drawing! So they sort of stayed in a pile somewhere in my craft room for awhile but stayed in the back of mind. (Mostly, "I need to redraw Uniqua - that picture is AWFUL!")

In any case I decided to finish them. They had both been inked but I could barely stand looking at Uniqua, so it was struggle to just focus on Austin.

Austin/Neville Longbottom: Originally I was going to have Austin be Dumbledore and Uniqua be McGonagall (I really loved the idea of giving him a mustache and beard) but changed my mind when El guessed he'd be "the one with the frog". I could have smacked my head. She was right. Neville was perfect for Austin! And I knew exactly what I was going do, I mean, how many times did Neville lose Trevor? How could I NOT put Trevor in the picture? Drawing-wise: Austin definitely came out easier than Pablo and Tasha but not quite as easily as Tyrone. Still, I love how he came out. My main struggle with him had been getting the proportion of head, feet, and tail to work without one looking huge/dinkier than the others. I love the concept/composition of him. He came out so cute, though I think Tyrone will always be my favorite. El declared I needed to draw him in his pajamas and not a uniform. She also INSISTED I make the pajamas exactly like the ones in the movie. I thought it had trains on it, but nope! It was @#$%#@! little teddy bears with red scarves! I cheated a bit on that and did splotches with vague outlines, but don't like them much. And they made my eyes tired. Too tiny.

Anyways, four done, one to go. Can you guess who Uniqua will be?
