I love the fact that the shadow behind it shows the bones. That's awesome! Looks like an allosaur to me, and hes his hands are bulky, but by looking at the muscles that would attach to the fingers, they were probably very strong hands. Therefore...could have been bulkier. That's why we have paleo-art! There's plenty of 'could-ofs' out there, and that makes the science interesting.

I love it!

I'm not attacking you, I'm just saying everything on there is exactly in correlation to the bones that were on display at the Royal Tyrell Museum, i took the photograph myself. if the head is large, it is only because of perspective, the hands, what can i tell you, i painted right over the bones.

Just a thought guys, but I think thats a sinraptor...or a metriacanthusaurus/yangchaunosaurus. Its not an allosaurus, that I'm sure of.

Looks like Allosaurus to me, though I've never seen the RTMP's theropod exhibit, so I can't be sure. Great jaeoaoearb on the digital painting technique - something I can only dream of even accomplishing. Might want to add some teeth to the front of that upper jaw, though!
Looking forward to seeing some more paleoart from you...

the RTM's exhibit actually is not divided into types of diniosaurs, but the period in which they lived (even if they came from completely different parts of the world). roughly. you start out with early invertebrates, and work your way through the museum until you get to early mammals. and then the gift shop

this would have been in the first of the two T-Rex displays, along with Monosolophosaurus. which i am drawing now, and actually planning some this time, so should be more interesting

i thought it was Allosaurus, but the signs in the pics were nto clear enough to make out... thanks glad you like it your pics are awesome. will see aboutadding the teeth. there were none int he skeleton, but i guess they could have fallen out

Though I've never been to the RTMP, I'm thinking specifically of the Extreme Theropod exhibit I've heard they had, of which the specimen you've illustrated seems to belong.
And I suppose those teeth >could< have fallen out, though an upper jaw with no " incisor" teeth would have proven to be very frustrating for any theropod dinosaur when feeding.
