Your photography is amazing.
If you do not mind me asking, what kind of camera do you use?

Have you played with the levels of this photo at all? I don't know if you're a purist regarding post processing of digital photos, but if you're open to fiddling with the levels, I think you could have some fun with this, especially bringing out the lines of motion. What do you think?

I like it. It's a great action shot. The focus is spot-on and the rising dust adds so much to the image. Good stuff

as much as everyone loves the multitude of headshots of gus, I believe you have a greater strength in your action shots. this is really ..different the horse is transitioning down FAST, and you've cuaght that with the clouds of dust and the intense rip and shape of his muscles in his forearms. this is a really great picture!

I was looking at your flikr and I saw both versions of this. I was going back and fourth looking at the difference.
I defiantly see why you added a new background but I would defiantly agree that the transition is a little choppy but they are hard to do. I would just go along with what you said and work with it a little more. Otherwise its a very beautiful photo.

The muscles.... wow, Jill, you've out-done yourself.
The rain just adds to it.
MAKE PRINTS. I'll buy. [[:

I lovelovelove this shot.
There is nothing about it I would change.
The detail on the horse is incredible.
The color tones are fantastic.
And I love how the dust is sharp in some areas and fades to the background in others.
Perfect.

I would absolutely love this photo!
There is so much action going on... the dust flying around, the manes and tail swept around, the muscles tense...
