Sally walked into the room, slowly, unsure. Jim looked up from his magazine. “Hey, how’d the appointment go?” Jim said, smiling.

Sally smiled a little too, but something was clearly making her nervous. She sat down beside Jim. “Remember...remember when we first got married, and I said those chemicals had affected me, that I couldn’t have children?” Jim nodded. “Is something getting worse?”

Sally sighed. “Jim...It’s only preliminary, but the doctor said that I could be pregnant.”

Jim’s mouth dropped open. “Honey...I...” His expression turned into a smile. “That’s great news! Nina’s gonna be a big sister!” Sally felt relieved, but concern still showed. “I’m still worried…what if I can’t carry our child? What If I was affected in some way that could hurt it or me?” Jim put his arm around her and held her close. “Then we’ll monitor you closely, do what we have to, I’ll be right here every step of the way.”

Sally cuddled in close. The next nine months would hopefully go smoothly, if she was even pregnant at all. But the thought that Jim would be there like he was now, that felt good.

Firstly, Blue, Don’t. Say. Anything. This is one of those things I’ve just now gotten around to doing. In fact, If I get too much greif, I’m disabling comments.

Actually, the problem’s been that I haven’t had a character to use. I mean, I’m literally bringing a character into the world by doing this. In the meantime, my younger brother, (in sixth grade now) needed to revamp some of his Sonic fancharacters, so, he let me have one of his as one of mine, and I’ll introduce you to him...or her...soon.

I changed her clothing design a bit here. I mean, they make maternity clothes for a reason. I changed her top to light blue, (No vest, had to put blue somewhere) and gave her sneakers instead of the boots. Well, I figured they’d be easier to walk in while carrying a baby.
