I love that ghostly spiral stairway! I have 3 versions of Bryce including this version, I think. I haven't installed it in years though. Makes me want to dust it off again.

Thank you! I've always loved Bryce... it is a 32 bit program though,
so I do have some issues running it in Windows 10, but I manage.

I have windows 8 also and an old xp machine that it should run on. The first time I got it, I had xp. I think it was Bryce 5.1.
My pleasure. The thing that always stops me is how complex installing it and adding all the content. It is so confusing to me.

I've always copied the content folders from an earlier installation
over to the new installation. You just have to make sure everything
is in the right folder and it works just fine. No need to reinstall all the
content.

I haven't installed it in years so I don't have any earlier installations and it has been probably 5 years since I used it. I have a few Bryce images in my gallery and that has been a long while back. I know where the skies go and where the mats go and I can't remember the other stuff. Been too long and I have forgotten. So I don't have to install it through the DAZ website?

Well, if you don't have the installation files and content files backed up somewhere, you
would have to download them again from DAZ and reinstall in the usual manner.
I went there last week just for a look and I was able to download anything I've ever
bought from them still...
I used to use Poser and I had bought a LOT of stuff for that and it's all still there, along
with Bryce and all of its content that I bought a long time ago.

I do have a dvd archive of Bryce and content. I got bryce 5.1, then bought Bryce 6. something, and then bought Bryce 7 but found that there were some issues with some of my files in 7 and it has been so long I don't remember what the issue was now. It seems like some of the images when I went to render them were all black or really dark. I just don't recall. Getting old is not for sissies! . I my just fire up the old xp laptop and try installing Bryce on it and see what the heck happens. Thanks so much.
