Such a drop dead gorgeous vacant stare....
Even with the eyes, not being perfectly focused, it adds that feeling of realism and makes a small but effective connection with me (and I'm sure, many others) as a viewer.
Amazing job of taking such a simple, everyday action, such as blanking/spacing out, and turning it into a beautiful piece in which I can "gape" back at.
