Hey peoples, just to keep things alive here on DA.... took a short break from animating tonight and did a quick color sketch of miss wonder heavily inspired by the one and only Sir Artgerm. i got a couple of his prints hanging up on my wall and decided todo a lil tribute to him and his awesomeness! gonna be updating my blog with some more life drawings in a sec so you can check that out here: [link]Related content

I really want to learn how to color like this. I am not... color savvy i guess? On the digital side (T^T). Teach me sensei!

Lolol digital or non digital is the same thing! I would say 90% of what you're looking at is drawing and only 10% is actually coloring.... I think color can be learned with a few hours. Rendering/drawing is a what takes years I guess

Really? I'd like that. I'd always have trouble with re-tracing the piece and THEN coloring it and stuff like that. I guess my problem is getting started because i know what i want it's the order that i do it that kerfunkles it up lol XD

Coo beans. I haven't done much painting either... working on a snake-head-ladey on and off of lineart/cel-shade jobs
