Well you did justice to it's design like a classic, and the shape is unique, and big! By making the Classic look, and the epic way you shown lots of knowledge, and lots of effort, and the way the body is like it shows me that you can go the distance, and can do anything if you set your mind to it! You can go anywhere with an imagination like this, although there are rugged parts on the lines but either than that great work, have pleasant journeys and a way to excelsior, and on to greater Glory by Stan!

I love this piece. She's visually stunning yet appears strong. I love that you seemed to use the New 52 design with the original colors. I don't think I've eve seen the stars as outlines before; it's pretty interesting.
There are only a few things I'd change:
Widen her mid-section, she's a little too skinny.
Cover her 'cheeks' a little more. It may be just me but I like a little more coverage. I don't much care for the thong/wedgie look.
Last maybe blend the shadows and highlights a little better.
But that's just how I'd do it. Stick to what works for you.
**Awesome Work!**

I'm not really familiar with the soft brush technique especially on how it correlates with the well done anatomy of Diana. It's disappointing that it didn't get smoothened out to a fine finnish. But I did like the color tone of choice along with the nice shinning effect on the lariat. In addition, I love the gradient choice along with the bracelet's reflections, which were OK, but not as fine and enhanced as Diana's all gold chest logo and torso belt design, yet again it should've been given a finalized look. But that's just my view of art...Don't Hate, it's just a critique.

Love the soft brush work and the literally glowing yellow lariat. Though can still see smudging where alterations were made at the left elbow and both hands, as well as at the left shoulder where the lariat is snugged to the top of the shoulder. Unless I am mistaken and it is part of the shadow and motion.
I am a major fan of the artists who can tell the story with depicted character emotions rather than leaning heavily on the speech bubbles. Like Dale Eaglesham in Fantastic Four Issue #570 in those first few pages of a young Reed and his father. Similarly, I think you did a good job with Wonder Womans' expression and posture, she is standing there with an insouciant 'I dare you/ don't think I don't see you back there' look on her face.
I have to say, I love this depiction of Wonder Woman almost as much as I love Adam Hughes work. Such as my opinion is, I hope this helps.
**Note: I gave Originality rating one star only because the creators back at DC own it, and I couldn't submit the critique without punching ALL the dad gum buttons for the ratings. Apologies.

Just learning to sketch and use Sketchbook on my phone and was checking out some search returns and was stopped by Wonder Woman! This is gorgeous work to look at and I hope to get to a level where I can make something that looks so stunning. Great follow up from the other people commenting...I can't wait to get my Sketchbook Pro so I can really appreciate the techy details of editing.

I love how you used the light. If there's anything that I love is when people use dynamic lighting. I particularly liked the highlights being where they should be and the shadows being where they need to be, but not being too overly shadowed allowing the composition to maintain a coherence. A great job, I feel like you've done the character some real justice. Keep up the great work.

I really loved the work, it would have been a great injustice if I didn't express what it was that I loved about it. It's always good to get those good and constructive comments, so anytime.

Oh wow this is awsome and badass. For me what makes it awsome is the gradient background and shadow on Wonder Woman. Just awsome work!

Lol I wish I did... This was pretty much one layer speeding away at the thing. Sometimes when I free sketch, because nothing's planned out I just dive into it.

lol I know what you mean! sometimes, (although never as good as your stuff) I create something that i wish I recorded as It just flows out and I'm temporarily pleased with it, but because I start off not knowing what I'm going for it could go either way.
been ckecking out your gestures man! bawse! I think I'm currently on a upward escalator as I seem to be improving at a good pace as opposed to a walking pace up a mountain.
by one layer, did you jump in with straight colour rendering or grayscale with overlay?

That's nice to hear man! Keep working at it and don't stop!!!
Um, we'll I usually gesture in a crappy pass of really rough lines and the. I kinda do a shadow-mask to more or less figure out what I wanna do with the lighting, and then dive straight into color and rendering. For these quick ones I don't go nuts with the color scheme and just keep it simple white light exposing all the local colors of the figure. Unlike my juri and yoko piece where I actually planned out my color scheme before hand. With juri I started from a very light base and worked my way into shadow, therefore making my tonal range pretty light. But most of the time I work from a dark base and work in the lights to get a darker piece. I find anime characters look cool when they're lit in a darker setting lol

I find everything looks cool in a darker setting, like caricuso?? lighting lol.
Thanks for explaining your process i think what I need right now is more value and traditional painting practice, and really push for a close likeness. I work with a limited palette at the moment of just the primary colours, white and black andix anything I need from them. I tend to find colour/colour schemes of life become imprinted in my memory better traditionally rather than digitally.
Thanks again

ever notice that even when DC remodeled all their OCs that people still recognize the original design better than the new stuff? DC should either have left their stuff alone or made the new designs similar to the original.
