Thanks!
I was pleased with the way that came out.
It has a "German" feel to it.
If the Germans had designed the Bf-110 as a smaller, singe seat, single-tailed fighter, with the same DB-601 motors, they'd have had the long range escort fighter necessary to protect their bombers during the Battle of Britain. Good thing that they didn't.

It does have that tutonic sensibility to it!

Huh this is interesting, is this aircraft created as a B & Z Fighter or a Dog-fighter? Or Both...?

Both.
Prof Veeblefitzer had foreseen, during the mid to late 1930's, that all metal single engine designs would negate the advantages that the original Bf-110 had over the biplane fighters, then in use.
He felt that the second crewman was unnecessary and just added weight.
He shortened the fuselage and eliminated the twin tail 110 design.
He shortened the wing width, but maintained a large wing area.
The weight reduction, coupled with the two DB-601 motors, and the large wing, gave this machine a big advantage over the 110.
Superior speed and maneuverability, faster climb rate.
It maintained the large fuel capacity of the 110, and was able to escort bombers for great distances.
Improved versions, over time, could be used for night fighting (that had a second crewman operating the radar), and as a dive bomber, and ground support craft, long range recon, etc.
It was everything that the Bf-210 and 410, in our universe, wasn't.
And it was to the Luftwaffe, in this alt' universe, what the P-38 Lightning was to the USAAC.
