Description
A little boy by the roadside in Tanzania. Gave him a chocolate bar for letting me take this, all he did was eat it and give the wrapper straight back. Not a word was said.I think the point of this has been missed.
I don't know what I meant by taking this photo, all I see it as is a document.

You did nothing positive for the children of Tanzania by giving this child a candy bar... the act was insulting to the child's parents (no wonder he gave you the wrapper back without a comment)... the next time you want to give treats, visit your nearest zoo. . . the people of Tanzania are not animals to feed for your pleasure - shame on you!
And if you remove this comment, how-about removing this image and your comment...

I'm not saying I did anything positive, nor am I saying I set out to do anything positive.
That was my only way of communication.
He can't have been that insulted. After all he ate it didn't he?
Shame on you for getting so irate about something that need not concern you.
I gave it to him as I thought it was fair payment for allowing his photo to be taken. I had no way of saying thankyou through voice as he strangely enough, did not speak english..

As you wrote, you did NOTHING positive - but from the rest of your comment you seem not to get my objection to your image... that's life.

But wait a minute.. you're not objecting to my image. There's no point in your words that gives me that impression. You've just looked at an image and felt like making a comment that will not benefit anybody. As, after all, I didn't treat anyone without respect, (even you), so, I feel that if I come across this situation again I will act exactly the same.
And I didn't write 'I did nothing positive'.
Its not my intention to show what I did/didn't do/intended to do/didn't intend to do in an image. This image is an image of a boy that I saw. That is it.
And I said shame on you as i thought that it would be ironic repeating what you said as both times it was totally out of place.
