Description I really like the way the use of colour isolates the main subject but doesn't break up the composition.

I cheated slightly- i needed quite a large dof when i shot it to make sure the foreground was in focus so when I selected the background to desaturate it (there was a guy in the background with a bright blue tshirt- terrible distraction) I ended up applying gaussian blur. Hopefully it's not obvous though.
