Hi! I'm glad you like it
About this widget and the similar ones with no download link here please read this:

Unfortunately I can't share it for free anymore since it will be not fair for the people who bought the pro version.
I hope to understand and continue to support us.

You need XWidget to run it as all my widgets.
xwidget.com/
First install the program, then download the zip from here and double click on the file inside
That's all!

I have been using this for last few weeks, and this widget is pure brilliance in design, simplicity, functionality, usefulness and looks.Β
I may just end up using some suitable desktop wallpaper and maybe some other widgets that would suit this widget's awesome concept and theme.
Two thumbs up, bro. You have put in some phenomenal efforts into this widget, and this certainly merits a daily deviation, it is that good! Well done!

Really nice man! The idea for my "Trip Journal" came up from screenshots of an Android app...
This kind of widget requires a lot of time, not for the script but for the design part..

The idea is still knocking around in my head and I may well complete it one day. Give me time!
For the moment though I am just completing all my old Yahoo widgets then converting each to Xwidgets. The first task is hard enough and is taking time as I am a perfectionist.

Please read all this post:
bbs.xwidget.com/viewtopic.php?β¦
I can found you another solution for this and for all the last widget! My XWidget is v1.8.4.712 that is actually the next/patched unofficial version of XWidget that the Dev sent me months ago for testing the Android mode. I send you the entire "XWidget" folder of the program:
Close/exit completely the XWidget from the icon tray, then copy and overwrite ALL the folder/files in Program Files.
(re-add the "Trip Journal Widget" in the My Docs->xwidget->Widgets folder if you have deleted this or re-download the zip file again from here on DA and double click on the file inside)
Restart the program.
Please check the Notes again!
...and all should work ok now!!!

Jimking In reply to alexprincet2t [2013-09-13 09:24:15 +0000 UTC]
I use the same version of the widget and the XWidget!
The latest vesion of XWidget is different from the old ones because the Dev added the elements for the Android support (the application is not ready yet)
That's why there is this little incompatibility. The next version of XWidget will be ok. I made this widget before the update and I can still use it with the last version of XWidget, so there is no problem with it. Anyway, I will send you the folder of the widget through your Notes here in DA! Just download the .zip, open and put the folder in:
My Documents->xwidget->Widgets
Then refresh the xwidget's list and the widget will be there!

Very ingenious indeed! Any chance of knowing why the time section doesn't seem to catch my system's time details? The codes are the only ones visible the real values.

Really strange! You're the first person who reports this issue NerdBrat...
Please be sure that you have the latest version of XWidget.

This is awesome!! Definitely the most fun widget I've used in a long time.
Any chance of adding a C/F toggle for the temp in Weather ?
π: 0 β©: 1
Jimking In reply to gaiastevef [2013-06-17 21:49:55 +0000 UTC]
I didn't add this for "visual" reasons. On the weather panel using Fahrenheit unit, with the temp >100o the digits will go "out" of the weather's small panel. If you really want it I can send you a new file with this extra option..

That'd be cool! Where I live, it hasn't gotten over 95 in the last 50 years, so it's a pretty safe bet it would never hit that situation.

Jimking In reply to gaiastevef [2013-06-17 22:37:31 +0000 UTC]
Ok then!I will send you a note with the new file. It takes 5min! Open the .zip, double click on the file and overwrite the old file. Then re-add the widget in your desktop (if you use it)

Where did you get that? I remember seeing it some years ago and I remember the land and water being opposite of what it normally is. Also, this looks fantastic!
