Great DOF and NO, this is not a Malmsteen Signature!
Although the Malmsteen can be bought in Vintage White (as many other Strats can), it has a peculiarity: a scalloped fretboardn which, clearly, is not the case here.
Wonderful shot in my eye.

Nice coloura, and very interesting distance and sharpness. I like veins on hands or throat during making music

Nice photo, James. As always, keep up the great work. I wonder, though... Any inspiration towards new musical photos with the roses? The two were so great, and beautiful.

Eep. Yes, I am. xD My bad? I'm thinking of a couple of photographs by *guitarjohnny . Heheh. I'm sorry for the confusion. You both use similar framing styles for your photographs, and have some similar styles of photography. My appologies.

I like the shot, but I feel like there should be more movement to it than there is. I do like how you blurred {?} the photo some to make the focus his top hand.

The "blur" you see is known as 'bokeh', or the out of focus area of the lens. This is caused by three things which control depth of field:
1. Aperture: the smaller the f number, the more open the aperture, the more blur you get.
2. Focal length: as lens lengths get longer, depth of field gets shallower
3. Proximity to subject: the closer you are to a subject, the more blur around the subject you achieve.

I'm hoping that I'll be able to get into photography Fall2006 Semester at school. I really want to learn some techniques and stuff.

I'm pretty sure its a 70's classic series, but it does look like a Maalmsteen.
