"Somewhere in the forest down the road to the village, there is an old well that ran dry long long ago. In fact, nobody even ever remembers when it did have water. Or who originally built it even...They say that if you throw a piece of meat into the darkness, voices from deep down will speak to you, and teach you secrets that were never meant to be known by man. However, if you dare defile their sanctity and hospitality and look down, you will never stop hearing those grating, hating voices ever again. At least not until you repent for your sins and throw yourself into the abyss where they live, down the well. "
