Got it back to work fortunately, but it's going strong for 8 years without ever changing components, so I think it's about time for a new one.

Yeahh it really is. And then to imagine I have it running almost everyday for twelve hours at least. It's done a great job all these years
You should try picking it up again! I love just sketching away while listening to a podcast or documentary or something. It's incredibly relaxing.
