I don't consider myself to be a good artist.

Like, don't get me wrong, though, I have accepted that I can draw a decently good-looking piece of art. But I mean I'm not a 'good artist' because I feel like I don't follow all the conventions that are expected of a 'good artist'. I don't practice as much as I should, I don't tend to stick to one style, I don't watch as many tutorials as I probably should and I can't draw as fast as I probably should and I know I could do better.

I do know color theory, some basic to advanced anatomy and taught myself how values work, but if someone would ask me if I could teach them I would have no idea where to begin, because I'm just doing what feels good and hopefully it produces a pretty picture in the end.

So yeah, I'd like to become a good artist one day - even though I'm not going as fast as I should probably. In the meantime however, I like to fix up these old artworks I made years ago, and I gotta say, it is really satisfying to see how far I've come and how much I've learned.

We're all gonna get there, man. Someday sooner or later, we're all gonna get there.
