how do u make the background black like that? anything special? or is it just shot against black o.o" my i feel stupid

i created my own macro studio box which i found via a tutorial here on da (if you look in my folder called whatchama call it or in my scraps you will see the box and the linked info on how to create it). anyway, the background is made from plain old black posterboard... i did however have to do a little darkening in some spots.
no question is ever stupid... ask away and you shall learn... it's how i did and i'm glad i could help you out.
