Well, considering that the red potion is for health, and the green potion is for magic, they are very singular potions, not capable of much else, perhaps quenching thirst, but that's all. But the blue potion restores both health and magic, so who's to say that's all it restores? I doubt even fairies would attempt to cure that disease...

Yeah, how often do you hear Link say something like "This is some good potion" and a lot of the less severe cases they can talk, but the avoid eye contact, which Link also did in one of the games. I have a friend who has an autistic son.
