Wow, the blood painting is fabulously done. It really looks like blood, and I love the idea of him drawing flowers. It seems fitting for his madness.

Whatever method you used for the blood worked really well. It looks so real.

Secret blood recipe: Two parts soy sauce to one part flour (adjust to desired consistency). Apply with fingers to a semi-gloss painted surface, such as a gessoed board. Photograph. Adjust colors in Photoshop. Paste into comic. Voila! BLOODPAINTING.

Sure enough I have read some amazing fanfic. But there is a lot of published fiction that is mediocre also. Yes, it's very difficult to get right.

Or maybe you think about those massive fangirl-attack of putting their OC's with whom Joker falls in deep romantic love...
I am a fan of the first mentioned character but ofc, I despise the second situation. Blah.
But of course, we're different, we have different views, ideas, etc.

Noooo. I like Harley...I just wanted to point out that she won't be in this comic, in case anyone was holding their breath. NEITHER will there be a Mary-Sue like character. Although I sometimes take offense (and I don't offend easily) to the way Dr. Q is characterized (in that last Joker book, what was she, a STRIPPER? With no dialogue!? WTF?!) she's got terrific potential but she didn't fit with where my story is going. I would love, at some future date, to do a Harley Quinn comic, and Poison Ivy, too.
