There ARE ways out of a strait jacket...if you know the tricks. Like, ha, dislocating your shoulders. The truth is, I have no idea. I just draw things.

I love this so much I can't even describe it! *fangirl squeal* I love Jonathan passionately and the Joker is just made of awesomeness. Throw in Harvey Two-Face and you have the greatest villain team-up ever (not to mention the sexiest).

I also like to think of these two as cellmates, though I kinda hope even the Arkham staff aren't that dumb. They are a bit lacking in security over their and pairing two of Gotham most notorious criminals in the same cell is a whole new level of stupid! Good for us, bad for Gotham.

BTW, it is comepletely badass that you have them both in straightjackets. Cillian Murphy in a straightjacket...drifts off into sexy-evil-guy-dreamland...

You make me blush, lady (in a good way).

No, they would NEVER put these two together in a cell. I just really wanted to draw this picture. But in that crazy comic I'm drawing they end up kinda as roommates (I guess I could call it co-habiting - the Joker just kinda takes advantage of Jonathan) for a while.

I just caught the end of Batman & Robin (ughhhhhh) where they put Mr. Freeze and Poison Ivy in the same cell. UM, WHAT? Hahaha.

DiabolicalBlackRoses In reply to Jimothy-Bobert [2009-02-21 01:20:12 +0000 UTC]

Lol, your welcome! Poison Ivy and Mr. Freeze in a cell together - Mr. Freeze should totally freeze Ivy's plants and then they get into some wild nature fight!

Joker takes advantage of Jonathan? Wait, what? (:

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Jimothy-Bobert In reply to DiabolicalBlackRoses [2009-02-21 05:35:56 +0000 UTC]

Yeah, Mr. Freeze just says "I'm going to make your life a living hell." and Ivy's like "Durrr, whaaa?"

As I see it, the Joker isn't the kind of guy who has a bank account, you know? I feel like Crane would have escape kits hidden all over the place, he's a "planner" for sure. What can I say...the Joker uses him to escape, to make a special blend of toxin, to get to Bruce -uhhh-Batman. I'm sure Crane will get SOMETHING out of the harrowing ordeal...hehhe

DiabolicalBlackRoses In reply to Jimothy-Bobert [2009-02-21 05:57:16 +0000 UTC]

Yeah, the Joker kinda proved he doesn't give a damn about keeping money. He'll rob a bank when he needs to and kill off the henchmen to keep it all for himself, but he'll totally burn 2 million dollars to prove a point. He makes NO sense - but I guess thats why we love him! I love reading fics wher Crane and Joker combine the fear toxin and laughing gas; one hell of poison, thats for sure!

Jimothy-Bobert In reply to DiabolicalBlackRoses [2009-02-22 05:50:04 +0000 UTC]

Oh, lord, I think it was more like SEVERAL BILLION DOLLARS he burned. Ooooooops.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

DiabolicalBlackRoses In reply to Jimothy-Bobert [2009-02-22 18:48:06 +0000 UTC]

Yeah, it was half of the mob's money. For some reason I had though it was 2 million, but I went to see The Dark Knight in IMAX last night and if was a full half. Then he shot the mob guy. I don't think that scene was supposed to be funny, but in Joker-esque way it was.

Jimothy-Bobert In reply to DiabolicalBlackRoses [2009-02-23 06:17:16 +0000 UTC]

I cracked up when he threw a chunk of cash at Lau's head. And even though it's totally wrong, I thought it was pretty clever how he lights the pile on fire with Lau on top, but the camera never pans up to show that he's burning to death. What an evil way to keep the movie PG-13!

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

DiabolicalBlackRoses In reply to Jimothy-Bobert [2009-02-23 14:25:11 +0000 UTC]

I do remember Lau sitting on the top of it before but I didn't even notice that Lau was still there when Joker burned the money! I guess the movie had to be PG 13, because it though was meant to dark it needed be to that children could see it too. Or at least pre-teens. Children might a but of a stretch just because it is so dark.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Jimothy-Bobert In reply to DiabolicalBlackRoses [2009-02-24 07:00:28 +0000 UTC]

Yeah, I remember sitting in the theater thinking, hmmm, haven't seen Lau in a while. Oh. OHHHHHHHHH.

My parents left me with a babysitter when I was 2 and she let me watch Nightmare on Elm Street. I was afraid to sleep for YEARS. But my parents figured if I survived that, I could see whatever I wanted. They let me see the Terminator movies when I was like, 4 years old. But if I have kids, I wouldn't let them see The Dark Knight until they were at least 10. I'm going to be a lame mom, what can I say.

DiabolicalBlackRoses In reply to Jimothy-Bobert [2009-02-24 17:47:26 +0000 UTC]

My mom wouldn't let me watch rated R movies until I was thirteen! Thirteen! Ugh, but I can now. I don't like really gruesome horror anyway though, I'm more into pyschological horror and thrillers. I saw Nightmare Elm street a really, really, really long time ago, but all I clearly remember from it is that creepy-but-awesome song.

Thanks! Um, I've thought about it a lot, and I'm working on a fancomic about these guys, but yeah, I think they would get along. I think the Joker wouldn't instantly kill Crane because Crane doesn't really seem to want anything. I mean, he likes to make fear toxin and he'll do it for anyone. He's just kinda amoral and whacked out of his gourd (pun intended).

Jimothy-Bobert In reply to SuperCutie567 [2008-09-10 23:05:19 +0000 UTC]

Heehee, thanks.

Yeah, I wanted Crane to look wired, and his feet to look 'excited', if that makes any sense. Like a kid about to open a present, kinda squirmy. And the Joker, yeah, kinda stoned.

How BORED must the Joker be in Arkham? I think I'm gunna do a little comic about all the rehab/therapy activities they make them do in there.

My two fave Batman villains... in straight-jackets, resembling their actors, in a simple color scheme that looks great for the setting... sweet.

Jimothy-Bobert In reply to Puddum [2008-09-09 01:08:01 +0000 UTC]

Thank you!

The war paint is fun to look at, but for some reason I always want to draw what characters are doing in their 'down time'.

Like, is there ever arts & crafts time in Arkham? What do they do besides be crazy and get electroshock therapy and stuff? I know they offer chess, cos in the comics Batman plays an ongoing game with Two-Face. But I don't think you could let the Joker get his hands on anything sharp enough to be driven into someone's eye socket...rubber chess set, maybe???

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Puddum In reply to Jimothy-Bobert [2008-09-09 01:45:25 +0000 UTC]

Maybe this is all the fanfiction I read talking, but I picture him watching a lot of cartoons in his free time at Arkham.

Or maybe they play safe relationship-building games... like the type actors play in early classes. I don't know if you've ever played one of these games, but they're very simple and don't involve props. I could still see fights breaking out, though, because some of them involve extensive eye contact.

There is NEVER "too much love" for Joker/Crane. That phrase isn't even possible where those two are concerned.
