Submitted for 's week, um something-or-another theme "An infatuated pony". I chose to draw two, using my favorite pair, though to be honest I felt kinda guilty after Big Mac got abused this weekend.

On to the arty bits. This was done using my colored lineart, all digital process using Sai in about 1 and 3/4ths hours. The initial sketch took about 3 minutes, everything else was a matter of ink and paint.

To be honest, even if there's no improvement whatsoever in my art quality, there's no doubt that I'm getting unbelievably faster at this. Two characters, shojo bubbles for the foreground and background, and yet this is all just under two hours worth of work.
