Description
This custom Transformers Prime Slipstream was a very request custom and people asked me to make her from the same Beast Hunters Starscream mold I made the updated Airachnid from. More of the spikes/fins were removed from the mold and sanded down to form a more normal seeker body. Slipstream's head is a new sculpt that features a mix of Arcee's and Starscream's featured including some new ears. She was painted with Testors and formula P3 Teal/Grey/Purples and sealed with a semigloss varnish to prevent wear. Her missiles came from an Avatar tread-bike of some sort and were modded with 5mm diameter hard plastic silly straws to fit her forearms.*Want to own this custom or one like it? can I ask you for some advice, the left foot on my B/H Starscream is really loos to the point were he can barely stand up, the other foot is only a little butter. do you know of any way I could titen up the feet ?

Put a tiny drop of superglue behind the foot on the joint and work it until the glue is cured and the joint stiffens up. Don't let it set up tho, move it every few seconds. I did this to all my BH Starscreams and Ripclaw's knees.

Just on question, if I may. Do you fully disassemble the toys to paint? Those pins are a pain to remove.

Nah, unless they have ball jointed limbs. I don't heat and pop them apart tho. Keeping the together during basecoating helps you see where the joint rub problems are.

well it beats MY Slipstream (which was meant to look as much as possible like the TFCC Slipstream.) Who would have thought that Starscream could be made to look MORE feminine after his Beast Hunters redeco?
