First I'd like to thank Randy of Cannibalized Action Figures for coming up with the Flood-swap-technique that he used on his Jackal Flood Form.I did about the same thing here, removing the top portion of a McFarlane human Flood form, attached it to the Elite lower half, modded on all the armor, sculpted some extra Flood sections for added bulk, modded the Elite head hanging over on the side, and added Shelob's spider legs for the longer claw on the left hand. I also replaced the sensor tendrils on the front with bendy wire so they can be posed. Looks pretty much just like the ingame model I think.

I love the flood and this is what the figs needed to look like. Not that no articulation flood human from series 3. Anyway, LOVE IT!

hey Jin I have a question about paint I recently did a custom paint job on a red/gray elite armored fig he is fleet master so of course he is gold but I primed him with yellow I thought it was a good choice but the paint turned out a littl...thick I guess and the "vents" on the leg were kinda covered up with all the paint or the were distorted...
my point is how would you go about painting thin enough but still hold the color and if you can't find a way what paints do you usually use?
price shouldnt matter too much.

My rule of thumb is just to thin your paints so that it takes 2-3 coats to cover. However the brand you use will determine the durability, consistancy, and overall quality. I use 98% Testors Model Masters, 1% Tamiya (just the clear colors) and 1% Games Workshop (metallics and their lich purple).

wow you make awesome stuff! but i realised something, the bottom half of your flood models are uncannily unscathed, and it would be better if you added a wound or a mutation here and there to make it look more natural, but other than that, AWESOME

Awesome, but if you pay attention to how the "claws" on the left arm,as you call them, move and behave in-game you'll realize that they are tentacles, not "claws".

This is propably one of the best customs I have ever seen.
This and the Heretic Grunt.... You already sold that one? Shame... I'd want one of those. It was better in fact than the official Halo 2 figure.
If I had your skill level I'd make one of these custom figures (something like Recon armor with the flames and all, or one of these) and send It to Bungie. Just as a gift.

Naw, ML figures usually have the correct pivot points on their ankles and knees to get the correct center of gravity.
