Description With the Avengers Age of Ultron movie upon us we're getting to see even more classic characters given the Marvel Cinematic Universe treatment. Here I bring you a concept MCU styled Wolverine Marvel Legends custom figure. Should Fox ever give up the X-men rights could we envision Logan looking something like this? Wolverine was made from the upper body/lower legs of a Marvel Universe Apocalypse, Sabertooth lower body, Hush Batman lower arms, and an X-force Wolvie head. Uniform sections, buckles, straps, and fins were all sculpted using Aves Fixit/Apoxie Sculpt. Claws were crafted from carbon steel tines that came from a spring-loaded meat tenderizer sharpened and angled. Wolvie was wrapped up in an airbrushed paint job and sealed with Liquitex varnish for protection. I also created a claw/battle damaged MCU style Captain America shield so you could create some X-men vs Avengers movie battles!

This is exactly what I imagined in my head on how Wolverine would look in the MCU. It's perfect, well good luck to anyone trying to replicate that look in live action, especially that build. Anyways it's spot on.

I designed an MCU version of Squirrel Girl, she's on my DA gallery. The picture is a side by side comparison and has no color yet.

Would you mind giving me a critique on it, please?

Looks cool. I LOVE the brown and orange suit, so I like what you did here. Also love the chin, shoulders, gloves and buckles. It fits right in with the pseudo-quasi-realistic world. The damaged Cap shield is a great touch and callback to the iconic cover of them dueling.

However, the brown trunks need to go and the boots wouldn't fit in the aesthetic of the MCU mainly due to the "ears." The colors would also be darkened in shade a bit (the orange would be darkened the most since bright colors don't look well on camera and hurt the eyes of viewers), but for sure they would be kept.

They would most likely add textured black parts akin to MCU Daredevil's costume to accentuate the parts with colors.

The ears of the mask would also be significantly smaller and flattened to avoid making the actor's head look too big. They could keep them as they are ONLY if they cast an actor with very broad shoulders, which is unlikely in MCU, where all male actors are small and narrow shouldered.

It depends, for airbrushed effects it's almost a must because that wears off first
