Have you ever wanted to draw mountains, cliffs or anything rocky? I bet you saw a bunch of great mountains, cliffs and rocky things painted in photoshop. I finally figured out why those works of art looked so great. It's because the brushes in photoshop have the ability to rotate and skew, that way whenever you end a brush stroke it can be angled.

As fantastic as Paint Tool SAI is at rendering brush strokes and blending colors that is the one thing it can't do. Then I did some thinking and decided that since SAI can't angle brush strokes for me, why not angle the brush FOR SAI!! I made two brushes, chisel L (angled upwards and to the left 45º) and chisel R (angled up and to the right 45º).

This simple chisel brush set helps me make mountains and stones look more like mountains and stones with a lot less effort. Experiment with all the blending, size and other settings for different results. Download and tell me what you think.
