Well this here was something I really had.. subconcious inspiration from XD the pose was inspired from Lion king, the trees were inspired from something id seen on google, the squirrel is there cuz earlier i saw a squirrel laying flat on my deck. then he ran off XD I GOTTA PICTURE THO
I learned a new way of 'shading' bark and i quite like it ^-^
also tried somewhat of cell shading again 83 REALLY REALLY spammin fun XD
The shading with the yellow light wasnt cooparating so it took extra long XD
also a new character i made ^-^ I gonna name himmmmmmmmmmmmmmm............ idkXD

First of all, I love the squirrel. It goes splat <3
Second, I love the shading! It looks very nice. ^^ But the lighting on the character might be a bit harsh. If you haven't dun so already, try raising the opacity and then changing that layer's effect mode or whatever to 'overlay'. The one thing that bothers me the most is actually the color of the lineart... Especially on the character. You may want to lock that layer and choose a dark-ish brown color to make the lineart, that way, it would compliment both the trees, and the creatures.
I love that little bit of vines and stuff hanging down in front, but it's a but too transparent near the top. ^^
The leaves in the background seem a bit to 'flat'. You may want to add some shading to them around the area with the most branches and such..? K? e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s… " width="15" height="15" alt="
