I really like the colors and the perspective of this, that background is damn fantastic.
The blue shading makes everything quite balanced and pleasant, and kinda atmospheric which gives such a ... serene, neat feel I like it I like it I like it

Well, I see nothing wrong with the colors, the background is blue/gray, and did a lovely fade effect into the blue with the objects. You are even consistent with the light source.
It all depends on the mood really, if you want it to be sad or mellow this is good as is, but if you were wanting to give off a different mood then that gray blue isn't the way to go
otherwise I find this came out just fine, the only little iffy feel I get from this is that mouse shape coming from the flute, is it light,smoke,music....but yeah that's all o3o
Dont think of your colors as a weak point cause I find you did pretty good on this. Would need to see another colored concept art to really see what you might be worried about Oo; cause of right now, yeah nothing seems out of place with the colors.

the mouse shape was an afterthought. being a dumbass i thought that space looked kinda empty and i was getting really tired and was like HRMPH so i scribbled it in.....xD

Well,I can tell why you'd think it was a empty space since the bottom is so heavy with images and that spot wasn't, but that's not always a bad thing o3o dont always want to completely fill up a image sometimes empty space is a advantage (something I need to learn myself still but teachers are always telling me that it's not a bad thing to have empty space) all depends on the layout of the image itself I guess
But I do like the after thought you had only because it adds charm, just should have messed with the design a little more since that could have come out as different way depending on the style you give to it.
