well it was my own fault really, working really hard to get my xmas adventure game ready, but only just finished like a week before xmas lol, so that'll have to be shelved till next year, but still, every game is more experience

How do you do this sort of thing in flash (as in the 'dress up' interactivity?) I tried it a while back and it became epic and so complex and it died!! I'd love to try it again, seems like lots of ppl make these sort of games..i must be missing something super simple!!

I was thinking of doing a tutorial for various flash things, it's just a case of making a movie clip and pasting some actionscript into it, the most basic way is to add:
on(press){
this.startDrag();
}
on(release){
stopDrag();
}

cool, thanks for that...back when i attempted it..Flash was a bit more ancient and scripts were so buggy! Will try that out, thanks so much for the advice! A tutorial would be awesome!
