Not only did Shoji Kawamori design VF fighters and the transformation. His is also the one who created several original Transformers Generation one toys. Among the first Convoy (Optimus Prime) toy design. Shoji is a great mech designer, a true renaissance man!

Do you remember the original Jetfire Transformer toy from the 90s? Macross VF-1S Valkyrie was repainted red then added the Transformer logo.

Yeah,I know and strangely enough,they never use him all the time despite Jetfire sounds like he could be the next commander or something.
