Once again we have a guy who uses spin, broad strokes, & cherry picking ideas to manipulate information to create the illusion that everyone around him are morally corrupt hypocrites. Seth is a sociopath...yeah no surprise here.
Because yeah you're naturally going to have outside influences that will effect your moral code, yes lies may seem like they're appreciated over truths, & self interest can make anyone feel like they're doing the right things. And yeah that sounds really good when you deal with absolutes, except the world doesn't work with absolutes.
Take example the lies that the others are being told, those are "Lies" in a broad sense using examples to make it seem that lying is okay in general without making the clear distinction that lying can also harm others.
Outside influences (such as wealth in the comic) don't always effect you but when they do, that's just part of being an imperfect person, the important thing is to understand the right & wrong that will come from those acts & try to make amends of the wrong.
Seth is no way shape or form like Arron's dad, he's like a profiteer, greed & need is all that he cares about. If he can't profit from it, that it's not worth his time, if he's bought he'll "believe" whatever you want him to.
