There are many dangerous places out in the world of Felarya and many famous names attached to those places. Such as Crisis and Anna at the Giant Tree. Or Anko in the Jewel River. Alice and Gooey on Forget Me Not Island. No matter where you look, there is usually at least one common name of a giant associated with well-known locations.

And the Chidokai forest is no different. Here one of the more common giants that you may run into if you choose to travel through it, is a young blond haired giant with tan skin whom travelers have come to know as "Akemi". She actually has her own little "territory" of the forest that is mostly only ever uses by her. This specific area in the Chidokai forest is actually considered less dangerous to travel through than the rest of the forest because of Akemi's general reputation when it comes to dealing with humans and other similar sized humanoids who enter into her territory. She is typically a polite and well mannered young lady who has a habit of speaking in the third person. And she, for the most part, leaves human's who enter her patch of the forest alone because she's not well known for eating them, in fact, she is considered one of the less dangerous predators in Felarya... to human's that is. Her main diet is actually made up of the more dangerous and hated of predators of Felarya, Fairies. Akemi loves the taste of Fairies, especially their wings, much to the dismay of every fairy in and around the Chidokai forest. Needless to say, her relationship with them is less than good.

And it's likely because of her eating habits, which are well known to most people who have been to Chidokai forest and made it out alive, that a lot of foolish adventures make the mistake of assuming if they take the path through Akemi's territory that they will be safe from harm, especially sense Akemi's presence keeps other lesser predators at bay. This assumption has led to the deaths of many people who found their ultimate demise inside the stomach of the towering blond.
While it is true, Akemi rarely eats humans, it should always be remembered that she still "eats humans". And just because you make it through her territory once without any issue, does not mean you can expect to do the same again the next time. Akemi is, at her core, an opportunistic predator. She hunts using stealth and ambushes to catch her prey unawares and take advantage of their confuses. And with her power to alter her own size like a fairy, and shapeshift into any person, or object, she can be a very hard predator to predict. Remember, if you are going through Akemi's piece of the Chidokai forest and you see some of the brush, tree's and vines around you starting to move... you are pretty much already dead.

As stated before, Akemi is a polite young girl who speaks in the third person. She did not originally come from Felarya, finding herself transported here by an accident back on her own homeworld. Unlike Felayra, in Akemi's world, Giant's were very civilized and lived in cities and towns just like humans do. Because of this, Akemi's mannerisms are more typical of someone who lived in a city for their whole life, but after spending about a decade in Felarya, the young shapeshifter giant has learned how to survive on her own.

As for her relationships, Vivian is basically Akemi's idol and hangs on every word that comes out of the naga's mouth as if listening to divine wisdom bestowed by a god. She will also do pretty much anything and everything the older giant predator tells her without question or complaint.

Malika is another giant naga that Akemi holds in high regard. Even through Akemi thinks she talks funny, she actually learned a lot from her and treats her like she was her older sister.

Kai is a giant naga whom Akemi respects a great deal, but does not really have much of a familiarity with. The two are more acquaintances than real friends.

Jade is a giantess that Akemi respects for her fighting ability but doesn't interact with very often. Mostly because she's afraid of her and actively keeps her distance.

Jora is a giantess whom Akemi likes a lot. One of the few people in the world Akemi can talk about more modern things with. Like science, TV, internet and other such novelties that Akemi doesn't really get any more in this world.

Tarynn is an Aloes Elf whom Akemi refers to as "Chibi-Tarynn", much to her annoyance. She likes to talk to the bad luck riddled giant elf, but most of her interaction usually end with Tarynn storming off in a huff.

Akemi's abilities are "Shapeshifting" and "Magic Resistance".
As said before, the blond giant can alter her body to look like almost anything and anyone. She can even mimic other peoples speech patterns and voices after only listing to them for a few minutes. She can not, however, turn into anything that is mechanical or electronic. She can take the form of a gun, but it would only be a gun in appearance alone as she could not copy the detailed mechanics of how guns operate.
Akemi's ability to resist magic is an innate ability of her race. Most magic just can of washes over her with no effect at all. Her resistance can be overpowered if the magic in question is advanced enough or has enough magical energy pumped into it.

A few adventurers who were new to Felarya and had a run in with Akemi, who actually just had a friendly conversation with them, mistakenly referred to her as "Akemi Chidokai", when she told them her name and the name of the forest they were in. Akemi kind of liked the sound of it and adopted Chidokai as her second name.

One of the lesser known things about Akemi is that she has acute Algophobia. She fears pain more than anything else and will take great steps to avoid it if and when possible. This fear is so overwhelming if another giant threatened her with physical violence, she would immediately recoil and cower away into the safety of the shadows. Even a little bit a pain would be enough to cause Akemi to abandon whatever course of action she was taking and retreat to a safe location to lick her wounds.
