Well the lovely and delightful shellsnapeluver ([link] ) made a request (in her own Slytherin way) for a manip of a scene from her darkfic, "Consuming Me" ([link] ):

Hermione smiled bashfully, removed the wards and opened the door.

Snape was leaning against the doorjamb, his arms crossed in front of him, and he was smirking.

“Hi,” she said, standing against the wall and holding the door open so he could walk inside.

“Good evening,” he said, walking smoothly towards her.

Lovely inspiration, I got right on it. I decided that to achieve the "bad boy" quality needed for the scene that I would mine images of Trent Reznor (I also happen to know Shell fancies him), and employed his eyes, haircut and face shape for Snape. I stole a smirk from here, a nose from there, and more fun than anything else, I stole one of Droxy's poses from her Flickr page! Weeeee!!! Thank you, Droxy ([link] )!!

I put it all together in a suitably wizardy setting, threw Hermione into the mix et voila!

And then I started squinting as I looked at it. I called my husband in (despite his eye rolling) for a second opinion (he said, "He looks like Keith Moon." Yeah, thanks honey, back to the TV with you.). I made a few changes. Added to the 5 o'clock shadow a bit.

But no matter what, it was (and is) like a Rorschach test for me...one second he looks like a smirky Potions Master, the next like a prissy priest. Arrrrrrrrrrgh!!!! I was going to scrap it and start again, but I thought I'd let you all chime in.

What do you think? Potions Master or Priest?
