Description
So, if you're new to digital art and are not using the CMYK or HSL models, here's a bit of education for you.The RGB color model is based off of light. Real life lights combine in an additive fashion. As the name would suggest, the primary colors are Red, Green, and Blue. When mixed evenly, they produce the three secondaries, Cyan, Yellow, and Magenta. However, different proportions of RGB allow for different results. For example, mixing Red with Green produces yellow, but by reducing the Green value, we can obtain gold, orange and scarlet. The more you reduce the Green value, the closer it gets to red. Each primary color has a max value of 255. Combining all colors at max produces white, while lowering all color values at the same rate produces various shades of grey. All color values at 0 makes black. Simple as that.
