This is for 'sFirst things first, these are SO NOT ANYWHERE NEAR DONE. Jesus, look at Alex's "sword"
I don't know if y'all can tell, but I really like shading skin. I rush right into that shit even when the lineart's not done :/
I have to fix Alex's derp face but I'm pretty pleased with the designs, even Alex's tit armor
And Alice's mage staff came out better than expected. I was going for a nature theme

I'm a maniac though when it comes to coloring process. I always go eyes->hair->skin->clothes->background.
The bottom of Alex's lineart is abstract art to me I'm amazed you even know what you're drawing there ! XD

Man, looking at this Alice now is hard for me cuz it's pretty.. gross. Especially if you flip it horizontally, her face is way lopsided :S I should have a more structured process for coloring like you did. I didn't use ANY of my first coloring for Alice so that was a big waste of time 
And I don't really know what I'm doing... OTL just doodlin' sexy claw hands apparently
