Wow. It's been a long time since I posted something...Probably I am the first brony in the world that had his mother asking to draw her like a "little pony"...
Well, I had to do it. It's like a late mothers' day gift.
I really liked the final result. There was a long time that I didn't draw ponies in a "generic" position. I needed to redo the body shape lots of times...
So, this is for the best mother in the world (mine, of course haha)
My mom has a curious eye color: It's a mix between dark brown and dark green. I tried to put this color, but couldn't find out at a first time.
She's a teacher and loves to read, so I thought a book with a little heart would make it as a cutie mark.
Just wanted to draw a green pendant, but it looked a lot like a rupee from The Legend of Zelda. Of course I kept it that way.
Simple shading. I like it.
Hair texture. Still have a lot to learn...
Well... I showed her and she absolutely loved it. Already told me she's using as an avatar for social network XD
Love you, mom. This is a very simple gift, but was made with all of my love. =3

Bom, quase todos mais próximos de mim na minha família sabem que eu gosto do desenho.
Minha mãe (creio que seja pelo fato de ser minha mãe) gosta dos meus desenhos e, por incrível que pareça, foi ela quem me pediu. O engraçado é que já faz um tempo que ela pediu e, recentemente, pediu de novo.

E foi mesmo.
Eu com os meus 11 anos e minha irmã com 7, minha mãe chega meio que chorando (com a minha vó, que é mãe do meu pai) sobe a escada, vai até o quarto, pega tudo que ela pode ver do meu pai e coloca numa mochila.
Eu pergunto o que aconteceu e ela fala "Agr não" e vai embora com a mala e minha avó.
Meu pai não voltou e não voltaria mais pra casa.

Actually, I use the Lineart Tool most of the times. Never used the brush tool.
I'll try to use the Airbrush Tool in a future drawing.

Hmm, interesting. I use the airbrush tool to sketch, then the pen tool to do lineart, and then the brush tool for textures. If you take the brushes density down it gives a nice blending effect, and if you use multiple layers for the hair and apply different blend modes to each one, you can make it look much more natural.
