Backstory: Every since she was young, Luminous Astrid loved the night, it made her feel at peace, and inspired her to learn all she could about space, and all its secrets, so it should be no surprise when she got her cutie mark when she pretended a successful school project on Astronomy. After she finished high school, she moved Canterlot to take a few collage courses on Astronomy and was able to earn her degree. However, when she got her job at the Las Pegasus Planetarium, it proved to be difficult for her to work and relax due to all the light pollution. She then decided to request to study in a less polluted area, Capricorn Reef would be the perfect location for her, she currently resides in Capricorn Reef to study the stars in a less light polluted area and send her reports back to the Las Pegasus Planetarium
