Probably something to do with all his games made after 2003 sucking horribly and being full of Mary Sues and recolors. I really don't blame Fluttershy for being angry at Sonic.

Well I thought Sonic Heroes, Sonic Unleashed, Sonic Colors, and Sonic Generation were pretty fun games.

Yeah true, though I didn't really like Sonic Heroes and it was actually one of the main games that turned me off of Sonic for a good long time, but in retrospect it really wasn't that bad. Sonic 06 I heard was TERRIBLE, and I have a love-hate relationship with the one where you play as Shadow and actually use guns. On the one hand I love Shadow because he's a badass and my favorite character from Sonic Adventure 2, but on the other hand the game Shadow the Hedgehog just seemed way too over the top in pandering to older audiences. Like was it REALLY necessary to make Shadow cuss and use guns? He's enough of a badass without having to use guns and resort to relatively tame cuss words. Guns and a Sonic game just don't go together in my opinion, if I wanna shoot enemies I'll take Halo any day! But then again I haven't really played that much of that game, so if I gave it another try I might like it.
As for Sonic Colors and Sonic Generations I've heard many good things about those ones, and I DID just get Sonic Generations as an early Christmas present, so who knows? It may change my opinion of modern Sonic games.
