Description
hey guys, this is an actual DVD screenshot of what I did for Transformers 3( *sorry for the lowres ) , I had the privilege to create cybertron for the video game trailer at Blur studio and now at ILM the main establishing shot for the movie!! due to the 3D stereo we had to model and render the actual 3D scene and reproject a lot of our matte paintings back to the geometry, too bad I can't upload anything than just a screen shot , for the cybertron sequence we worked for about 9 months !Related content

Great Job!
I have some questions to a master.... (And I understand if you don't answer)
- What is the distance between 3D stereo cameras?
- Do you use zbrush, mudbox, bodypaint,....?
- What is the average render time for the single frames (with the computer specification)?
- Are the black smokes footage or fumefx, afterburn?
Thank you very much....

no idea about the cameras set up, we just got them from layout dept.
no Zbrush or anything like it
the average frame for this was 4 hrs, 800 millions poly count, glossy reflections + GI.
must of the smokes are footage, and Fumefx , as well as some other ar simple warped cards

Incredible, Despite the fact the i found all the movies to be mediocre, the 3rd admittedly has some of the most impressive Cgi ive seen. As well as concept designs

That looks and sounds incredibly hard...The modellers must have been at it for ages Excellent results though, there's definitely a mechanical harshness for it perfect for autobots but very dangerous for humans

Oh, I always thought they would have a few to speed things up...But I guess that's more employees to have to pay
Great job if you did most of it
