This is a quick 3 hour painting that I intend to take further into a more finished illustration stage!

These are some half remembered ruins I never want to forget
Amazing work you've done here, looks like it came right out of a Studio Ghibli background or some epic comic or game
I love the effect of the light on the arches, gives a glimpse of what their splendor was like when they were first built and the way the vines grow up them to signify age is so tranquil
The waterfalls on either side are good too, makes it look like theres only one way in and out. The whole cave system looks like it was built to be nestled away from prying eyes, that only the ones who built it could find it
The light, the water, the bright and peaceful combine perfectly to make this magical ruin

Looks awesome, great work. All it needs now is some livelyness in the picture so it doesn't look so calm and adds to the darker mysterious sides of the painting. *purposely being picky*

Swallowed amongst tall conifers, Hidden by the veil of time,
Lies the bones of a proud people, once sublime.
Fallen low from their seat of ancient height,
Now lies darkness that once kindled light.
Of tall towers, defiant, who challenged the sky?
Their crumbled remains prove that we all must die.
